Centrepoint Church
Established in 2008 with just four families, Centrepoint Bathgate has grown into a dynamic ministry center reaching people from across central Scotland. The church family needs a home – a place where it can put down roots, and a platform for ministry to Bathgate and beyond.
Currently meeting in a suburban village on the outskirts of Bathgate, the church has been severely constrained by the limitations of meeting in a school. With access to a venue for only four hours on a Sunday, the church has not been able to accomplish as much as it would like. Additionally, the kids’ church has had to turn away children on recent Sundays due to a lack of space.
As the largest Bible-based, gospel-believing church in Bathgate, Centrepoint shares stewardship for ministry across the whole town and beyond. But when it is fully packed, the current gym hall can seat 160 people, less than 1% of the town’s population.
Beyond an enhanced Sunday morning worship gathering space, its new town-center venue will open up multiple ways of reaching many more people with the gospel.
